Ok, I did a major denim purge earlier this summer. Then again just yesterday. I was never into skinny jeans or ripped denim - i just liked options! but I went from 60+ (I know, I know) to about 30. I have a nice tight edit of 1/2 straight (Levi’s and CoH) and 1/2 flared and wide leg. I have kept one pair of super wide leg/lowish rise at least 16 years. Just bc I loved them. Wore recently and must have been asked 10 times where I got them. (Nordstrom 2007 was my answer.)
What’s the oldest thing in your wardrobe??
Perhaps this ages me a bit, but I have a beautiful Donna Karan blazer circa 1997 that I bought - borrowed money from my mom! It’s still in rotation and still fabulous.
I find that with straight CBD (which I'm also a big fan of), it helps to mellow me out, relieve a smidge of anxiety if I'm on edge or help me sleep. The addition of THC makes me feel a little peppier? It's hard to explain, but it's a nice little addition. I usually opt for 1/2, but I've had friends describe that a full one feels like having 2 glasses of wine, which is a solid description. Also contributes to great sleep.
Would love to see a photo of these Nordstrom 2007 jeans. I love hearing about the older items that are still fabulous. For mine, a vintage Chanel clutch that I bought in 1999 via eBay. It's 100% Authentic and I paid around $500. This one
1980 Manolo blahnik black round toe pumps w a tiny knot. Like a low chunky kitten heel. Got same pair in white for (1st...) wedding 1983(?) & (eek) dyed them forest green like the color of those fancy wooden swing sets in the 1990’s.
