Hi!
How’s everyone doing?
I’m coming off a week of over-booking myself, but in the best way possible. My birthday was a little over a week ago (9/28), and the week was full of several smaller celebrations and get-togethers. This week, I have no plans except to recharge my social battery. It’s rare that I feel that way, but I definitely need a little reset and detox.
On to the outfits:
The last few weeks have been dominated by this suede blazer from Vince. I’ve been wearing it any opportunity that I can get, and it has easily become my most worn piece thus far. It wasn’t a purchase I made lightly given its price tag, but it’s safe to say that I have zero regrets. There’s also this under $500 version from Madewell that looks quite similar.

I wore the above outfit to see Sebastian Maniscalco at Madison Square Garden with Keith and a few other friends. We started our night at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse (midtown location) and walked to MSG.

I wore this out for a birthday dinner and magic show with a couple of girlfriends. Business on top, party on the bottom.

Aerin Lauder beauty invited a small group of us to Wildflower Farms in upstate New York to celebrate the launch of her latest fragrance, Amber Mask Santal. The hotel was magical and the fragrance smells like a perfect fall day in front of a cozy fireplace.
Keith and I stayed in the city on the night of my birthday and woke up to a rainy Sunday. I initially thought of pairing this combo with a black bag and boots, but ultimately, I decided on brown. I liked how it softened up the outfit and added some contrast. Brown and black or brown and grey have become two of my favorite color combos. I’m also really into navy and brown!

I love this bag. The only thing I don’t love is how much it’s popping up on social media, but I also get why! If you’re not in that world and just an observer, it’s such a good one.
Wearing with my beloved boots from Emme Parsons. I’m an 8.5 and wear these in a 39, my usual European size. The quality of them is unmatched.

Two more cases for the same suede blazer (above and below). I wore the above to a breakfast celebrating a new product from U Beauty, and the below to dinner with Keith at L’Artusi.
The mules were a gift from me to me, and while I love them, they’re not shoes I can walk in for long periods of time. A few blocks at most.

Helena!!! Your boots/bags/outerwear are always my favorite and you’re showcasing them ALL here!!!! Love the alternative suede jacket rec. def a few of these for outfit inspo
Hi - we have the same birthday, here's to a new year of happy things :) Those Chanel ballets are just so stunning - I swear if Chanel ballets had more support/padding I'd both be broke and have a collection of them!!! Loving all the "brown" posts!
