We're officially in Libra season, and if there's one thing about Libra women (and men), at least speaking for myself and those I know, they love being surrounded by beauty. This beauty can come in various forms - for some, it's being surrounded by a lush garden; for others, it's a beautifully decorated home; and for others, it can be having a closet full of things that makes them feel like a million bucks.
Libras also love to treat themselves (and others, too, for what it's worth)! A beautiful, aesthetically inspiring trip, a fabulous meal at a favorite restaurant, a new handbag, or, in my case, all of the above. I'm laughing as I'm typing that because I realize it sounds a bit ridiculous, but we are who we are.
I love an experience gift more than anything else, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have several pretty little things on my radar. At this point, this is a part birthday, part holiday wishlist.
Also, since this is a place of honesty, a few of these items are already in my possession. Earlier this week, I attended the 'Nobody Wants This' viewing, and my best friend was able to join. Before the viewing, we made a pit stop at Louis Vuitton to look at a few of the small leather goods I've been admiring. She insisted on putting in some money towards one of these pieces as my birthday gift.
I've mentioned this on Instagram, but while I don't love an LV bag for myself, I find some of their pieces such iconic classics—the duffles, their small leather travel pouches, and most recently, on my radar, the planners. I saw the below image on Pinterest, and I have not been able to get it out of my head since. I especially love the look when these pieces are loved and really lived in.
Breaking down some of the items:

I had them show me all three sizes. The large was too large unless it was strictly living on a desk. In that case, chic as hell. I liked the size of the small one for handbag purposes. The medium felt like the best planner size and was realistic enough to carry on some days. I don't think it's something you'd put in your handbag daily unless you're commuting/driving. The medium is the size I was leaning towards. If you have one, please share your experience!
A few of you have also told me to look into the notebook cover rather than the planner, as it's lighter. I don't know, though! I'm a bit torn.
I won't be doing LV for the planner paper that goes inside, but paper inserts from another company like Cloth & Paper.

Busted. These are officially off my wishlist. The funny thing is that I’ve never considered myself an animal print girl, but these really did it for me. Saint Laurent leopard is just so good. As someone who wears a lot of black, these felt like such a great, spicy little addition to my wardrobe.

I already wore them with my go-to Jenni Kayne blazer and pants combo that I’ve worn many times already. It’s become a closet staple.

I’m not planning to overdo it on the LV but maybe make two additions. The other day, Morgan Stewart shared her packing things, and seeing some LV travel gear solidified that I was making a good choice.
I love this signet ring (to be worn as a pinky ring) so much! After admiring it on my friend, I also included a David Yurman ring on my wishlist, and it’s even better in person. But the price tag kills me on that one. I also keep thinking about the Ring Concierge zodiac necklace.
I don’t own anything Dorsey, but I’m lusting after one of the necklaces. I’m unsure which one because they’re all so pretty.
This Toteme bag has been haunting me. I know I don’t want another black bag, so debating between dark brown croc-effect or dark brown leather.
Which one would you go with?
I’m going to end it here. Tomorrow, I’ll spend the morning and early afternoon with the family, and then Keith and I will have a little overnight stay in the city. That’s what I’m looking forward to the most!
I hope you have the best weekend!
The Saint Laurent mules are gorgeous and timeless! You can enjoy them for years to come - great choice!
Happy pre birthday! I’m not an LV girl either but do have a very small mens wallet that I bought in the late 90s which has held up beautifully for 24+ years! I also have a poochette (I think I paid $100? but I rarely use). Again, looks nearly new For your planner, have you thought about pre-loved?
