Weekend Notes: 6.22.25

I just realized that Friday was the first day of summer, and with the start of a fresh season, we're entering a heat wave. At some point last week, I was wearing a sweater, and this week, it's getting up to 102 degrees. Excuse me?! I'll be leaning on lightweight cotton shorts and the thinnest tee I can find, as I don't love myself (aka my arms) in a tank top unless its a very specific cut. At this point, I know what I feel my best in.
However, speaking of arms, and I'm getting a little off topic here, I'm doing what most 40-something-year-olds are recommended: lifting heavier weights and focusing on more protein (*yawn*). Quite frankly, I want to roll my own eyes even typing that cliche sentence, but it is what it is. The reality is that I feel- and, in turn, look, much better when I have this sort of routine in my life.
It's our last week of school, and as always, June is an incredibly bittersweet emotional rollercoaster.

Eyeing, Buying & Sales Worth Noting:
I did not buy, but definitely drooled over these gorgeous Chanel shoes! Spotted them at the 57th street store in NYC.
A few pieces that caught my eye from the NET-A-PORTER Sale: These Toteme slingbacks (that I sadly paid full price for), this Déhanche belt and this Khaite Bambi belt that I own in another variation.
However, not on sale, but my goodness, how gorgeous is this woven leather tote? I love the burgundy color.
My good friend was raving about Left on Friday bathing suits and bikinis the other day. Have you guys tried?
I just got this black and white skirt. I feel like it will work well in the summer, but also transition nicely into the cooler weather with a pair of tights.
I already had this blazer dress in white, but also ended up getting the pink color. It’s so pretty!
Another great Etsy shop for art. I included the artists olive painting in My Weekly Top, but generally loving so many of her pieces.

It’s that time of year where I’m mixing tanning cream with my body lotion. I love this one from Lux Unfiltered.
I ran out of this Goop Scalp Scrub to realize how much I missed it. I use it every few weeks to exfoliate and properly clean my scalp.
On the topic of hair, I’ve been alternating between the ROZ har oil and the Leonor Greyl pre-shampoo before washing my hair. From the bottom of my ears to my ends only!
These ecru Levi’s have already proven to be a necessarily closet staple.

An Early Summer Wishlist
I’ve been feeling a bit off this past week, having a hard getting into a good groove with anything, and the only thing that has helped me, is going out for a long walk.
Left on Friday suits are so good! They are doing two "pop ups" at stores in NYC this summer so you can try on in person - Burton Soho and Westerlind
Left on Friday is a great (Canadian) brand! Their suits suck you in and are still selling. As a 40 yr old mum i approve!
