I’ve been feeling a bit off this past week, having a hard getting into a good groove with anything, and the only thing that has helped me, is going out for a long walk.
I’ve also decided to stop procrastinating (my specialty) and tackle my up-the-stairs gallery wall project that I’ve been wanting to do for years. Along with that, I wanted to put together a current wishlist of sorts—at-home projects and little luxuries that have been occupying my brain space.
An Up-the-Stairs Gallery Wall: As I mentioned, this has been on my Pinterest board for years, but it took me until last week to actually start making the moves to put the plan into action. I ordered some vintage frames from Etsy, went to Michaels and HomeGoods to supplement some others, and plan to hit up a few Goodwill stores in the next few weeks. I also started adding a bunch of photos into a “photos to frame” album on my phone.” Additionally, I began ordering (via eBay and Etsy) postcards from places or things that hold meaning for our family. The hardest part is getting started, but now that I have, it’s all starting to fall into place.
A Bathroom Refresh: On the home front, we did a major bathroom renovation seven years ago, but now I’m looking to update the paint color and a few of the accessories. We had light and bright but craving slight moodiness this time around. I love the photo in the bottom right-hand corner. Maybe we’ll continue the frames into the bathroom.
Updated Accessories: In my Etsy browsing time, I found this scalloped wooden tray that I ordered for our kitchen. In general, the shop has lots of pretty things!

Trouser Shorts: Last year, I purchased the above white trouser shorts, and they ended up being one of my most worn pairs. Last week, I ordered the same pair in black. I went with a M, and they’re a little loose but work perfectly with a belt. If you’re not a belt person, size down.
Signet Pinky Ring: This isn’t the first time I’m posting about lusting after a large signet ring and considering it’s still occupying a large chunk of my mind, it’s time to pull the trigger. I recently discovered this Etsy shop, where I’m pretty sure I’ll end up getting it from. I’ll update with photos once I order and it arrives. I’d get my initials, and I’m debating between this one or this one. If you have an opinion on one, please let me know!
Khaite Python Sandals: I have an $800 gift card to Nordstrom, and I’ve been debating using it on these. Have I tried them on in real life? Nope. Am I able to get them out of my head? Also nope. I have a few pairs of Khaite boots, and they always become my most worn pairs. The quality on them is top-notch, and I’ve never regretted a single pair.
Dorsey Paracord Anklet: I love an anklet, and this is a fun one.
Red Quilted Chanel Flats: I search The RealReal and various sites almost daily for this unicorn pair. I’ve been unsuccessful, but that doesn’t stop me from dreaming about them regularly. If you ever happen to spot a size 40 anywhere (the quilted run very small in my experience), and you don’t get them for yourself, please send them my way!!
Ray-Ban Sunglasses: I put Levi’s and Ray-Bans in the same forever classic category. Craving a fresh pair with gold detailing like these. I find that the rectangular shape gives a little edge to an otherwise classic pair.
Tee: Damson Madder (in a size UK 10) | Levi’s Denim (true to size) | Steve Madden Jelly Shoes | Mansur Gavriel Bag Levi’s Denim in Ecru: I just got these and they are an immediate yes. The only other pair of white/cream denim I have are longer and more of a trouser style. These feel a bit more effortless and casual. I got my usual size. Also, graphic tees! This is the one I’m wearing, and I’ve scoured the web for others that catch my eye. More below.
Graphic Tees:
Also on my mind, graphic tees to add a little spice to a simple outfit. I’m such a jeans and t-shirt person, and love the idea of sprucing it up with a fun tee. There are so many good ones out right now!

As usual, love everything you’re loving 💯 🥰
Such a light, fresh read! Also, been eyeing those Levi’s and I think you convinced me! I second the commenter below, the signet ring without the diamonds feels more classic and doesn’t feel like the engraving is competing with the diamonds.
