Omg this post made me so nostalgic! I found my Balenciaga City Bag in a second hand store in Rome when I was in high school and I spent pretty much all my savings to buy it. I still have it and I’ll never sell it 🩶
what a time! i also used to stalk the purse forums for info on new colors, styles, etc and members would tell you what was in stock at their local stores. i got a few styles because of their intel and i reciprocated as well. i still carry mine all the time!

I wasn’t a big fan of the City Bag when it first came out. By the time I began to like it - maybe 2018 - I came very close to getting a pre-loved. Should have done it!
Oh my gosh what a nostalgic post! I very distinctly remember the photos of Miraslava Duma, I became obsessed with her from that photo! I kinda miss how EVERYTHING was on TPF and you could just check one site
I love this post because that bag was/is so iconic!!! It was THE “it” bag back then. While I’ve been following you for many many years I don’t think I’ve ever seen your debut posts!!! I also had the city in a special green (more of a Kelly green) that I remember Barney’s had to order from California (I was in long island at the time). Fast forward I lent it to my friend and then we had a falling out and I never got it back!! I still think about contacting her and getting it back if she hasn’t already sold it! But wow yes def bring it back!!!
