Weekend Notes: 2.22.26
The best country to live in, Love Story (the show), where to travel to in 2026, my first spring shoe purchase, the PJs I cannot get enough of and so much more.

Hi!! How’s everyone doing? On Thursday night, we got back from Aruba, where we escaped for our kids’ mid-winter school break. As the saying goes, when you’re traveling with kids, it’s a trip rather than a vacation. Nonetheless, absolutely zero complaints here as it felt really nice to feel some heat on our skin after the winter we’ve had.
I’ve been saving some things to share with you all, so shall we jump right into it?!
Links & Things:
On the list of what I’ve been saving: this Substack article for my next trip to Paris, which, if I have anything to say about it, will be this year. I have an immense urge to visit. To immerse myself in people-watching, architecture, and fashion. I haven’t been in 10 years and am missing it so much!
Chloe Malle’s first Vogue issue is officially out.
Who’s watching Love Story? I’m about to start this weekend as soon as I finish the latest season of Tell Me Lies. And here’s a great piece on it and the art of being a cool girl.
Speaking of, the true story behind the ‘90s Kate Moss Calvin Klein campaign that changed fashion.
Etsy sells secondhand clothing marketplace Depop, to eBay for $1.2B.
On reasons why I love NYC: this piece on The Trumpet Player in a Tux in Grand Central warmed my heart and lifted my spirits.
Where to go in 2026: an escape plan for each of the seasons.
The benefits of lemon water are explained. It’s been part of my morning routine for almost a decade, and I cannot imagine ever stopping.
Apparently, magicians are taking over New York nightlife..
The 2026 Olympic Ice Dancing Drama, explained.
Hot Honey-Glazed Salmon - yes please! I’m planning to make it this week.
Low-spend ways to fill long winter days.
Long live the landline!

Eyeing, Buying & Things Worth Noting:

A few days ago, I shared a few of my favorite pajamas on Instagram. I rated the Negative whipped Henley style my #1 in terms of comfort, quality, and how they wash. I know they come with a hefty price tag, and I apologize for that part! They’re very, very thin, which makes them so incredible to sleep in, but also the reason I only like wearing them to bed rather than lounging in them. For lounging purposes, the Skims soft lounge pajamas are my pick.
On the same topic, this version via Amazon was highly recommended as a dupe of the above. I had dozens of DMs raving about how good they were and a few that said, “They’re really great, but they don’t compare to the Negative.” They probably don’t, but I did order them to judge for myself.
My first spring shoe purchase: these leopard print ponyhair beauties from AEYDE. I sized up 1/2 a size.
Holy moly. These might be the most comfortable bed sheets I’ve tried.
I’ve mentioned this mesh bra before, but since discovering it last year, it’s the only one I’ll wear when traveling. When I want a little more lift and support, I’m also a big fan of this t-shirt bra.
Speaking from personal experience, this faux-leather scarf jacket is really good.
On the opposite side of the price spectrum, this one from Nour Hammour still remains at the top of my wishlist.
Wishing you a wonderful week!
xo,
Helena
