Weekend Notes: 12.14.25

Isn’t it crazy to believe that Christmas is less than two weeks away? In typical fashion, I still have a lot of gifts to buy, something I plan to tackle over the weekend.
A little catch-up: This month, I finally finished The Summer I Turned Pretty. I know I’m months late to it, but I did not expect to enjoy the show as much as I did. I thought the finale was excellent, and I’ve already rewatched it several times. Next up is a show that came highly recommended: Maxton Hall. Have any of you watched? If so, what did we think?
Also, on the topic of TV, Keith and I just wrapped the Diddy documentary, which he and the team have been working on for months. For those unfamiliar, he’s a Sound Engineer and handles everything related to how the show sounds. It’s been a wild ride, and I get sick to my stomach to think about how much that man got away with.
On a lighter note, let’s jump into the good stuff.

Eyeing, Buying & Things Worth Noting:

I’ve owned the Savette Slim Symmetry pochette in bone for years, and it’s one of my favorite bags. I’ve been thinking about getting a second color since last year, and finally pulled the trigger on this gorgeous plum beauty. I’m revolving all of my holiday looks around it (like the one below).
Speaking of handbags, the other day, I saw a woman wearing this Mulberry bag, and it stopped me in my tracks.
The last purchase I made: a cashmere comb.
Did you guys know that Violet Grey sells Biologique Recherche? Including my beloved Masque Vivant.
My very stylish friend was wearing this coat the other day, and it looked so good on her. The dark dove color is even prettier in person.
I have this Cashmere Signature Crew sweater from Sold Out NYC on my wishlist (in either navy or cream).
The Salt & Stone Discovery set makes for a great gift (code: BROOKLYNBONDE15).
I’m in the process of refreshing our bedroom with some wallpaper (strongly considering this one) and infusing it with more warmth and color through pillows and bedding. These dark green pillows will help tie everything together.
The Weekly Top:

A few things to mention:
I wore this Diptyque fragrance on our November wedding day (13 years ago!), and it still remains one of my favorite cold weather fragrances.
Every woman needs a pair of cashmere lined leather gloves, IMHO.
Tom Ford has the best liquid liner that I’ve tried so far. It lasts all day (or night) without any smudging.
A really great pair of straight-leg blue jeans. I’m wearing them in the first photo, and I find they run true to size.
The Hourglass Unlocked mascara continues to be my go-to in the tubing department.
A great 100% cashmere scarf from Theory, and it’s on sale.
My freshly updated Shopbop hearts.
Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Helena

I have two bayswater bags. They are about 6-7 years old and are still some of my faves. Beautifully made!
Tubing mascara…I used to use Hourglass but switched about a year ago. have you tried the Tarte Tartlette XL? It’s BETTER! You have to try it!
After a thorough search for the perfect work bag, I landed on a black Muberry Bayswater tote and it is perfect. Is Mulberry having a moment!? There are so many great styles, the leather is gorgeous, and the prices are not…insulting…
