Granted, these two can make a trash bag look great, but let’s not unestimate the power of a white button down, black jeans and some pops of red. Get the look: my favorite white button down, black denim and a red sweater.

Have you watched The Super Models on AppleTV? If you’re here reading this, I’m assuming you have some interest in fashion, and in that case, I cannot recommend it enough. Fashion aside, the iconic 90s nostalgia alone makes it worth it. There were moments I found myself wiping tears away from how much it took me back to a specific time and place.

It also sparked me to go down a deep dive into iconic 90s fashion, as presented below. While many of us are familiar with the formula to create a so-called “timeless look,” these ten images are quite the visual examples. Every one of these looks, supermodels and beautiful people aside, are not only outfits that I want to recreate, but I plan on recreating immediately.

Maybe I’ll document it and share it on social (or here), but I’m a little nervous about committing to something like that and not delivering. Let’s say I’m going to give it a go.

In the meantime, here are ten looks that, for lack of a better word, are everything. I tried to be very specific with the items I linked that can achieve a similar look. I’m hoping this inspires you as much as it inspired me.

Get the look: (Faux) leather blazer, blue straight-leg denim or these in light blue, black turtleneck, brown boots, brown suede belt.

What a duo, right? I did a deep dive and her shoes are (now vintage) Manolo Blahnik that I wish they still made. Today, I’d update with these. A fab black slip dress and Favorite Daughter makes a great one in navy.

Get the look: black silky looking button down, black denim, simple black belt. As far as the mules, Toteme has this version that are stunning. There are also these from Madewell.
