Welcome to my substack!

This is a whole new world to me, but I'm glad to be here.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing as far as substacking goes, but ones gotta start somewhere, right?  I do know that I've been in some aspect of this digital world since the beginning, so I'm hoping I'll figure it all out rather quickly.

Why a substack? Well, for starters, It feels like there have been signs to start one coming in from every angle. From a personal perspective, I've been enjoying a few substacks myself that I'll share in a separate post. They really do feel a bit more personal, a bit like the old school blogging days that I've missed, way more than I've even realized. 

With blogging, I got to a point where I started over thinking every single post that I published. Were people even reading it? Was publishing one outfit with my notes about it enough anymore? It kind of stopped feeling like it. All to a point that I kind of stopped posting as often as I wanted to. The ideas and creativity still floated around in my head, but then I'd kind of just get stumped. I did start a TikTok account and while I barely have any followers (compared to instgram), It's been a fun little outlet and I don’t particularly care about the follower count..

For the longest time, I've been wanting to start a newsletter, but there were moments where I felt intimidated by the whole idea and never really ran with it. 

So here we are. This is going to be a space that I refuse to overthink. A place that I can share my thoughts on everything that is currently circling around in my head.  There will be a lot of fashion, beauty and I’m sure, some personal stuff.

I don't plan to stop the blog. I just have to figure out how I plan to use each platform to its benefit. 

In the meantime, welcome! Any notes for feedback welcome because as I mentioned, this is a whole new world to me.
