I realize that a grey cashmere crewneck is not a groundbreaking item by any means, but if your closet doesn’t have one, take this as your sign. 

In the last 4-6 weeks, it’s been one of the most worn pieces in my closet, something I’ve worn with everything from sweats to satin pants to a leather-esque pleated skirt. This one is no longer available, but several great options exist (linked two below). My main requirements (aside from being cashmere) are that it’s slightly loose and has a round neckline rather than a turtleneck, which also has its purpose in the wardrobe, as far as I am concerned.
